These terms apply to donations made through this website and to your use of it. By making a donation, you agree to them.
Who we are
This website is run by Wijdan Charity Association (Vicdan Derneği), a non-governmental humanitarian organisation founded in Istanbul under Turkey's law on associations.
Your donation
A donation is a voluntary gift. It is allocated to the project you choose and used to deliver that project, including its reasonable direct costs. Donations are made in Turkish lira (TRY), and each project shows its minimum amount.
If a project is already fully funded, has closed or cannot go ahead, your donation will be used for another project with the same purpose.
Payment
Payments are processed by our banking partner, Ziraat Katılım, on its secure 3D Secure payment page. By confirming a donation, you authorise the amount shown to be charged to the card you use on the bank's page. Card details are never entered on, or stored by, this website.
Receipts
When a payment succeeds, a receipt is issued automatically and sent to the email address you gave. You can also view it at any time through a private link. A receipt is a record of a gift received.
Refunds
If you donated by mistake, or gave a different amount from the one you intended, contact us as soon as possible at Contact@wijdancharity.org, quoting your donation reference. Where the funds have not yet been committed to a project, we will refund them to the card you used.
Anonymous donations
If you choose to give anonymously, we will not display your name publicly. We still keep your details privately, for our records and for your receipt.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep project information, targets and totals accurate and up to date. Conditions on the ground can change, and we may adjust a project where circumstances require it.
Website content
The text, images and design of this website belong to Wijdan Charity Association. You may quote from it with attribution, but you may not reproduce it in full or present it as your own.
